Man charged following sexual assault

A man has been charged after a woman was sexually assaulted in Burton.

Vasil Georgiev, 36, of Burton, has been charged with sexual assault, kidnap and exposure after a number of incidents from a number of victims were reported on Tuesday 30 August. 

Police were called just before 12 noon on 30 August to reports a woman had been sexually assaulted on Hopley Road. There was also a report of a man exposing himself on Henhurst Hill and a man acting suspiciously on Shobnall Road.  

Georgiev is due to appear before magistrates at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Thursday 1 September).
