The family of a motorcyclist who died in a collision in Stoke-on-Trent have paid tribute to him.
Police were called at 6.24am on Saturday (9 April) to Parkhall Road, at the junction of Defoe Road, following reports of a collision.
Officers attended and a motorbike was found in collision with a lamppost.
Police closed the road in the Bentilee direction while emergency services attended the scene.
Sadly, 30-year-old Jordan Ratcliffe, from the local area, was pronounced dead by paramedics a short time later.
In a statement, Jordan's family said: "Farewell to our beloved son Jordan - a son, grandson, brother, uncle and true legend.
"We will never forget you."
The family continue to be supported by specialist officers at this difficult time.
A file will shortly be prepared for HM Coroner.
Officers continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward.
