A man has been charged following a search at an address in Burton-upon-Trent.
At 2.35pm yesterday (Thursday 28 April), officers acted upon intelligence and attended a residential address on Sycamore Road.
A large quantity of class A and B drugs were discovered at the address, alongside cash and scales.
A 29-year-old man, from Burton-upon-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A, acquire/use/possess criminal property and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class B.
He was also arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle other than in accordance with a license and using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third party insurance – in relation to a separate offence.
Steven Reilly, of Sycamore Road, Stapenhill, has been charged with the above offences.
He is due to appear before North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Friday 29 April).
