Police are appealing for information following an attempted burglary in Stoke-on-Trent.
Officers attended an address off Heron Street, Fenton, yesterday (Thursday 7 April) following reports of a burglary.
It is believed the offence took place at around 10.45pm yesterday (Thursday 7 April).
Three men seen wearing dark clothing who approached the rear of the property with machetes and caused damage to the rear door to gain access.
Nothing was reported as stolen and the offenders were then seen getting into a car.
The victim was not injured but left shaken following the incident.
Inquiries are continuing.
