Officers are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed at knifepoint in Stoke-on-Trent.
The victim, a 20-year-old man, reported being approached by a man riding a grey mountain bike between 10pm and 10.30pm on Christchurch Street on Wednesday 13 April.
The offender threatened the victim with a knife before stealing his mobile phone and cycling away in the direction of Temple Street.
The suspect is described as being in his late teens or early twenties, wearing a grey tracksuit and possibly a coat. He also had a distinctive red drawstring bag and red gloves.
Officers believe prior to the robbery the offender had cycled from King Street towards Christchurch Street.
Anyone who saw what happened or who may have relevant CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time is asked to get in touch.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to the drivers of two taxis which were captured on CCTV a short time after the offence took place.
Anyone with information should contact Staffordshire Police on Facebook, Twitter, or call 101, quoting incident number 770 of 13 April.
Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
