A man has been arrested following a number of incidents in Stoke-on-Trent.
Police were called at 5.05pm yesterday (Monday 27 September) to reports of a man touching a woman inappropriately in Hanley Park.
A further call was received at 5.30pm to reports of a man assaulting a woman outside Botteslow Street, in front of the Moorcroft Medical Centre. The woman sustained facial and hand injuries.
Police were called again at 7.10pm to Leek New Road where a woman reported being followed by a man as she left the Aldi store.
Another woman, a jogger, reported being chased by a man while running on Leek New Road between 6.45pm and 7pm.
Police attended the scene and a man was detained a short time later.
A 38-year-old man, from the Hanley area, was arrested on suspicion of assault by beating and remains in police custody while inquiries continue.
