A man has been arrested in connection with the assault of two men in Stafford Street, Hanley, earlier this month.
Police were called at 5.20am on Sunday 5 September to Stafford Street in the town and found two unconscious men at the scene.
A 28-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm.
The man remains in custody.
