A man has been arrested following a flat fire in Barlaston.
Police were called to flats on Bell Lane at 6.53pm last night (Monday 13 September) to reports of a fire.
No one was injured.
The man, a 63-year-old from the Barlaston area, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.
He remains in custody.
An investigation into the fire is ongoing and it is believed to be an isolated incident.
