Officers are appealing for witnesses after a man sadly lost his life in a collision in Bobbington yesterday (8 September).
Police were called to Halfpenny Green at 4.45pm, following a collision involving a blue Jeep Renegade and a coach.
The driver of the car, a local man aged 28, suffered serious injuries and, despite the efforts of medical staff, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the coach, a silver single decker, was assessed by the ambulance service at the scene.
The man’s next of kin have been informed and his family are being supported by specially-trained officers.
Witnesses who may have seen the vehicles before the collision or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter quoting incident number 582 of 8 September or call 101.
