Staffordshire Police’s Disruption Team South have made three arrests in Tamworth.
Officers exercised a stop and search on a vehicle at 4:30pm yesterday (Wednesday 20 October) off Brindley Drive, Amington.
A 24-year-old man from Tamworth was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug. He has been released from custody under investigation.
At 5:45pm, a search warrant was executed at an address in Stoneydelph, Tamworth. A 26-year-old man, from Birmingham, was located and arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug and burglary.
A 39-year-old man, from Tamworth, was also arrested at the address under suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.
Both remain in custody.
