A man has been arrested after an incident in Blurton last night.
Police were called at 11.10pm last night (Monday 18 October) to reports of a suspicious incident on Finstock Avenue, Blurton.
Officers attended a property and a man was in possession of what is believed to be a BB gun. No officers or members of the public were injured.
Firearms officers attended and conducted a structured search.
A 21-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. He remains in police custody.
An investigation is ongoing and detectives ask people in the area, and the areas surrounding, or were driving in the area, to review any CCTV, dash-cam or smart doorbell footage they may have.
Officers will be in the location carrying out enquiries and providing hi-visibility support and reassurance
