Officers responded to reports of a road traffic collision on Saturday 16 October.
At approximately 11:00am, a motorcyclist travelling across the A511 Burton Bridge was unseated after a near miss with a car.
A man in his 60s was taken to Queens Hospital, Burton afterwards and was diagnosed with a broken shoulder.
The injured man was riding a black Bullit Hero 125 motorbike. The car is believed to be a small black hatchback.
