A man has been charged after a man was stabbed in Newcastle.
Police were called at 10.40pm on 7 November to reports that a man had been stabbed on High Street, Newcastle, near to Barclays Bank.
The man, in his 30s, was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Patrick James Jamieson, 22, of Basford Park Road, Newcastle, has been charged with threaten a person with a blade/sharply pointed article in a public place.
He appeared before magistrates at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Thursday (11 November) and was remanded into custody.
