A man has been charged after another man received a puncture wound to the neck during an altercation in Burton.
Police were called at 4am yesterday morning (Sunday 31 October) to reports that a man had been injured outside the Association Nightclub on High Street.
A 20-year-old man was taken to Queens Hospital in Burton. His injuries were not believed to be life threatening or life changing and he was in a stable condition.
Jaydon Kie Adams, 19, of Shobnall Road, Burton, has been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent and possess a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.
He is due to appear before magistrates at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Monday 1 November).
