A man has been charged with drug offences after officers found a significant cannabis grow in Stafford.
Officers were called shortly before midday on Sunday (7 November) to a property on Gaolgate Street.
Police attended and discovered an extensive cannabis grow involving 726 plants.
Sophisticated growing methods and equipment were found at the location.
The scene was visited by forensic officers who secured the location.
Suspicious activity was reported at the scene a day later, on Monday (8 November).
Two men were initially arrested on suspicion of illegally entering the UK, then being concerned in the production of class B drugs.
One man was later released with no further action to be taken.
The other man was later charged with being concerned in the production of class Bs.
Tu Van Vu, aged 36, of no-fixed-abode, appeared before magistrates at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Wednesday (10 November) and was remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Stafford Crown Court due on 10 December 2021.
