Officers are appealing for information after a woman was harassed by an unknown man in South Staffordshire.
Police were called shortly before 8.30am on Saturday (20 November) to an address in Perton.
The victim reported being following by a man at about 7.20am that day.
The offender was reportedly touching himself inappropriately and chased the woman along Gainsborough Drive.
The victim managed to avoid him and raise the alarm.
The offender is described as white, in his mid-30s, with short brown hair.
He is about 5ft 8inches in height, of stocky build, and was unshaven.
The man was wearing a yellow, high-visibility jacket with matching trousers, and had a very deep voice.
The victim was able to make her escape by calling a taxi away from the scene.
She was left very shaken and distressed, but unhurt.
Chief Inspector Dave Wain, of South Staffordshire Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT), said: “We are taking this incident very seriously and we will do everything possible to ensure the perpetrator is located.”
Officers have obtained a CCTV still image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident and are conducting patrols of the local area today (26 November).
Anyone who saw what happened or who may have further CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time of the incident, is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on Facebook, Twitter, or call 101, quoting incident number 162 of 20 November.
