Police investigating a violent incident in Newcastle-under-Lyme have made a second arrest.
A 19-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of robbery over an incident in Comet Avenue, Cross Heath, on the afternoon of 3 May.
The incident, involving three men, left one with stab wounds.
Yusuf Kose, aged 18, from Meadow Lane in Newcastle-under-Lyme, has already been charged over the incident. He has been charged with robbery, common assault, possessing a bladed article in a public place, attempted wounding with intent, theft from a motor vehicle and breaching a criminal behaviour order.
Detective Inspector Scott McGrath from force CID said: “CID are working closely with all local Neighbourhood Policing Team colleagues to thoroughly investigate incidents like this and get to the bottom of what happened.
“We will continue to crack down on criminal activities on our streets and we will continue pursue those who carry knives. If you do carry a knife during incidents like this then you will be investigated and you will be caught.”
