Plane crash in Ahmedabad
The UK is working with local authorities in India to urgently establish the facts and provide support to those involved.
Three men have been arrested after a man was assaulted in Shelton last night.
Police were called last night (Monday 17 May) to reports of an assault outside Lloyds Chemist on Stoke Road at approximately 8.25pm.
A man in his 40s was taken to hospital with head and facial injuries. His car, a white Audi, was also damaged.
The three men, aged 26, 35 and 36, all from Stoke-on-Trent, were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and affray. They all remain in custody.
