A 28-year-old man and 36-year-old woman have been charged over drug offences following a stop-and-search in Stafford.
Officers stopped the pair, both from the Stafford area, on Friday (7 May) on Bridge Street.
A quantity of a substance believed to be monkey dust was discovered.
Jack Insley and Jenna Holland were each charged with three counts of supplying of class B drugs and possession with intent to supply.
They appeared at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Monday (10 May).
Jack Insley was remanded in custody ahead of a further court appearance.
Jenna Holland was issued conditional bail.
Both are due to appear at Stafford Crown Court on 7 June.
Chief Inspector Giles Parsons, of Stafford Borough Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Officers are committed to continuing to work in the Bridge Street area to help address concerns regarding anti-social behaviour and drug-taking.”
