Two women from Bedfordshire have been charged after officers secured a major monkey dust seizure in Staffordshire.
The discovery came after a car was stopped by officers from Stoke North Neighbourhood Policing Team in Hanley shortly before 11pm on Thursday 17 June.Approximately eight kilograms of the drug, believed to be worth approximately £300,000 was seized.Lara Kean and Kayleigh Kinsella, both of Thaxted Close, Luton, have since been charged on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled Class B drug.Kean, who’s 21, has been released on conditional bail following a court appearance whilst Kinsella, who’s 22, has been remanded in custody.Enquiries continue.
