Two women from Bedfordshire have been charged after officers secured a major monkey dust seizure in Staffordshire.
The discovery came after a car was stopped by officers from Stoke North Neighbourhood Policing Team in Hanley shortly before 11pm on Thursday 17 June.
Approximately eight kilograms of the drug, believed to be worth approximately £300,000 was seized.
Lara Kean and Kayleigh Kinsella, both of Thaxted Close, Luton, have since been charged on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled Class B drug.
Kean, who’s 21, has been released on conditional bail following a court appearance whilst Kinsella, who’s 22, has been remanded in custody.
