Officers are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the suspect pictured on or around Hunter Street in Burton this evening.
Officers were called to a report of a robbery at the Premier SRS Stores on Hunter Street, Burton-upon-Trent at around 5:10pm today (6 June).
A man armed with a knife attempted to break into the till in the shop before fleeing the scene. The man was wearing a matching tracksuit with the Supply and Demand logo on his chest.
