Officers are investigating a non-stop collision in Tamworth on Saturday (5 June).
Police were called at about 5.10pm to a collision between a car and a motorcycle at the junction of Peelers Way and Tamworth Road.
The motorcyclist came off his bike and ended up underneath another car which wasn’t involved in the collision. He was not trapped and only suffered superficial injuries.
The car involved in the collision – described as a Ford Fiesta by witnesses - drove off at speed and was seen driving towards the Dosthill lights and the junction of Watling Street.
The driver is described by witnesses as being white with fair hair, and it is believed there was a front seat passenger also in the vehicle.
Anyone who saw the collision, or who may have dash cam footage which can help with the investigation, is asked to message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter quoting incident number 630 of 5 June, call 101 or alternatively contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
