Officers are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving a lorry on the A50 in Staffordshire.
Police were called at 12.40am this morning (Thursday 29 July) to reports that a lorry had overturned near to the junction for the A522 (Uttoxeter).
The driver was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life changing or life threatening.
Both the westbound and eastbound carriageways were closed, with the westbound side reopening at approximately 5.55am. The eastbound side reopened at 8.55am.
Witnesses who may have seen the lorry before the collision or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter quoting incident number 21 of 29 July or call 101.
