Detectives are investigating after a man was attacked with a machete in Mile Oak, near Lichfield.
Police were called by West Midlands Ambulance Service at 3.35pm this afternoon (Friday 22 January) to reports that a man had been attacked with a machete on Sutton Road in Mile Oak.
He has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham with serious leg injuries.
Anyone with any information should message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter quoting incident number 471 of 22 January, call 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
