Officers are appealing for information after a man was seriously hurt in a road traffic collision in Longton.
Police were called at about 2.30pm on Tuesday (19 January) to Baths Road following reports of a crash involving a black Audi A3 and a pedestrian.
Officers attended and found a 64-year-old man, the pedestrian, with a serious leg injury.
He was conveyed to hospital by the ambulance service.
He remains in a stable condition in hospital.
The car driver remained at the scene and is helping officers with their inquiries.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen what happened or has dashcam footage of the incident to get in touch.
