Police are appealing for information after a man was found deceased in Coven.
Officers were called at 9.50am on Sunday 14 February to Laches Lane, Slade Heath.
A 47-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained and officers would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area between 7pm on Saturday 13 February and the morning of Sunday 14 February.
It is understood that the man was last seen alive in the area of New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton and officers are trying to establish his movements between this time.
He is described as a white male, of slim build, wearing a black beanie hat, grey tracksuit bottoms, a navy blue and white tracksuit top and black Adidas man bag with black trainers.
Anyone with information is asked to message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter, quoting incident number 133 of 14 February.
