A Cheadle man has been charged with firearms offences following an incident near the town on Saturday (6 February).
Gregory Cashmore, 32, of Churchill Road, is charged with possession of a firearm whilst committing a schedule 1 offence (criminal damage), possession of a shotgun without a certificate, and threats to commit criminal damage.
The charges relate to an incident near Cheadle on 6 February.
Cashmore has been remanded in custody to appear before magistrates in Newcastle-under-Lyme today (10 February).
