A 17-year-old boy has been arrested following an assault with a baseball bat in Rugeley on Tuesday (2 February).
We were alerted by West Midlands Ambulance Service at about 4.45pm to the incident in Grindcobbe Grove in Rugeley where the 20-year-old man suffered heavy blood loss and swelling to the head and a potential broken jaw.
The 17-year-old has since been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Officers wish to speak to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious at the time to build a picture of what happened.
