Man arrested after cannabis grow worth more than £200,000 discovered

A man has been arrested after officers discovered a significant cannabis grow at a premises in South Staffordshire.
Officers from South Staffordshire Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) executing a warrant, attended Four Ashes Industrial Park based on Station Road near Wolverhampton on Wednesday (15 December).
More than 200 cannabis plants were discovered, believed to be worth more than £200,000.
A 25-year-old man from the South Staffordshire area was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs.
He remains in police custody while inquiries continue.
Chief Inspector Dave Wain, of South Staffordshire NPT, said: “We are committed to carrying out proactive activity in our communities and will continue to do all we can to disrupt the supply of drugs in South Staffordshire.”
