Officers are appealing for information after a number of attempted vehicle thefts in Wombourne.
Police were first called at 2.25pm on Saturday 18 December to an address near to Common Road.
Officers were informed that two teenage males dressed in dark clothing tried to access the victim’s Ford Fiesta, causing damage to the door handle and activating the vehicle’s alarm before departing the scene.
Most recently, police were called at 3pm on Wednesday (22 December) to a store on Heath Mill Road.
A victim reported that two male offenders had attempted to access their Ford Zetec vehicle before making off.
Officers are currently reviewing CCTV footage of the areas at the time of the attempted thefts and urge anyone with information to get in touch.

Officers recommend, that in order to protect yourself from vehicle crime:
• Always lock your vehicle – even if you are only leaving it for a short period
• Keep vehicle keys safe – ideally in a signal-blocking Faraday pouch to prevent keyless entry
• Park responsibly
• Fit good-quality security locks on steering wheels
