Officers are appealing for information following a robbery on Somerset Road, Hanley, on Friday evening (10 December).
At approximately 11:25pm, four men got out of a vehicle and assaulted a man. They also stole his bike.
It has been reported that the men were travelling in a silver Kia at the time of incident. They left in the direction of Bucknall New Road.
All four of the suspects are described as white. One man is believed to have been wearing a tracksuit with a cap.
The bicycle is a black Voodoo with an orange pattern and mudguards.
