Officers are appealing for information after an 11-year-old girl was hurt following a non-stop collision in Bentilee.
Police were called at 7.33pm on Tuesday 30 November to Beverley Drive.
Witnesses described a non-stop collision involving a black Ford Fiesta travelling from the direction of Bucknall, colliding with the child as she crossed the road, before driving off in the direction of Longton.
The 11-year-old girl was conveyed to hospital with facial injuries and concussion.
Her injuries were not deemed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
She was discharged from hospital on Wednesday 1 December.
Officers are currently reviewing CCTV footage of the area at the time of the collision and ask anyone who may have saw what happened or who has dashcam footage of the area at the time to get in touch.
