Officers are appealing for information after a property was burgled in Burton and a large amount of jewellery was stolen.
Police were called at 07.49am on Monday (2 August) to Weston Park Avenue.
Officers attended and found a property had been burgled.
A quantity of jewellery worth in the region of £11,000 had been stolen along with a safe.
It is believed the theft took place between 5.30pm on Sunday 1 August and 07.49am the following morning.
Officers are currently reviewing CCTV footage of the area at the time and carrying out forensic checks.
