Officers have confirmed the name of the man who died in a road traffic collision in Cannock earlier this week.
Adrian Wright from Cannock was travelling along Laburnum Avenue shortly before 5:30pm on Wednesday 7 April when his quad bike was involved in a single vehicle collision.
Despite the best effort of paramedics and members of the public, the 53-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family are being supported by specially trained officers and ask that they are allowed to grieve privately at this difficult time.
Investigating officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit continue to ask any witnesses to the incident or with relevant dash-cam footage to come forward and ask that anyone who saw a Yamaha quad bike in the area of Laburnum Avenue to get in touch.
Anyone with any information should message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter quoting incident number 540 of 7 April, call 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
