Detectives have charged an 18-year-old with a firearm offences following an incident in Fenton yesterday (April 12).
Bradley Rushton, of Fenton, is charged with possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence in Fenton on April 12.
He has been remanded in custody to appear before magistrates in Newcastle today.
Detective Constable Dave Stubbs, of Staffordshire Police, said: “I’m aware there were a number of members of the public present at the time and they can continue to assist us.
“In particular I’m still keen to hear from a woman who asked the caller to ring the police as she may have information that is very important.”
