Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died in a road traffic collision in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Officers were called to the A51 junction of Wharmadine Lane in Blackbrook following reports of a road traffic collision involving a lorry and a motorcycle shortly after 2pm yesterday (Friday 23 April).
Sadly, despite the efforts of paramedics and members of the public, a 21-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family are being supported by specially trained officers.
Officers from the Staffordshire and West Midlands Serious Collision Investigation Unit are now appealing for information, asking anyone who saw a black Suzuki motorcycle or LGV in the area in the moments leading up to the collision to get in touch.
