Police are appealing for information after a suspicious incident was reported in Barlaston.
Staffordshire Police were called at 4.40pm on Thursday (15 April) to Meaford Road.
Officers attended and a 14-year-old girl reported that two men in a white van had approached her.
The men departed once they spotted that the victim’s friends were nearby.
The men are described as Romanian, with black hair, both wearing short sleeved tops and jogging bottoms.
Officers are currently reviewing CCTV footage of the area.
Chief Inspector Giles Parsons, of Stafford Borough Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We have increased patrols in Barlaston and the surrounding areas to reassure the local community and are providing assistance to detectives who are investigating this incident.”
Anyone who has dash cam footage of the area at the time or witnesses any similar suspicious incidents is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on Facebook, Twitter or call 101, quoting incident number 528 of 15 April.
