A nine-year-old boy is in a stable condition in hospital after a collision in Rugeley yesterday afternoon (Monday 31 August).
Emergency services were called to Rugeley Bus Station on Elmore Lane at 2.20pm to reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a white Mercedes Vito van.
The boy, from Rugeley, received leg injuries and was taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital by air ambulance.
The driver of the van, a 57-year-old man and the passenger, a 60-year-old woman, were uninjured. Both were from the Bradford area.
