Two men and a 15-year-old girl have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a boy sustained potentially life-changing injuries in a collision with a car in Longton.
The victim, 15, sustained a fractured skull, broken thigh and shoulder injury as he was struck by the car at about 6.30pm on Baths Road on Sunday (25 Oct).
He is continuing to receive treatment in hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A 31-year-old man and a 20-year-old man were arrested earlier today and remain in police custody.
The girl was arrested on Tuesday (27 Oct) and later released under investigation.
Another boy, 17, was previously arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and later released under investigation while inquires continue.
DI Peter Cooke of force CID North said: “Officers are continuing to review CCTV footage and investigate the circumstances surrounding what happened.
“We would like to appeal to the public to come forward with any dashcam footage they may have of the area at the time that may help with our on going inquiries.”
