A cyclist who died following a road traffic collision in Brewood on Monday (25 May) has been named.
Dr Rick Norris, from the Brewood area, sadly died following the collision with a tractor carrying a trailer on Gunstone Lane on the Chillington Estate at 2.45pm.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, 61-year-old Rick was sadly pronounced dead at the scene and specialist officers are supporting his family at this difficult time.
An investigation is underway and officers from the Staffordshire and West Midlands Serious Collision Investigation Unit are continuing to appeal for any witnesses that may have seen the cyclist or tractor prior to the collision to come forward.
Officers are also keen to hear from anyone who may have any dash-cam footage or any other information that may assist with the investigation.
