Officers are appealing for information after a child suffered serious head injuries in a collision in Stafford.
Polcie were called by West Midlands Ambulance Service to Common Road just at 12.05am this morning (Sunday 10 May) following reports a motorbike had been involved in a collision.
A child had suffered serious head and facial injuries and was taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital by ambulance where he remains in intensive care in a critical condition.
A 42-year-old motorcyclist suffered head, chest and facial injuries and was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital by ambulance.
Officers from the Staffordshire and West Midlands Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the vehicles before the collision or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to contact 101, quoting incident 3 of 10 May.
