A man from Stoke-on-Trent has been charged with drug supply and modern slavery offences.
Usman Rafi, 25, of Sandon Street, was charged with conspiracy to supply a Class A controlled drugs – cocaine and heroin, two counts of requiring a person to perform forced or compulsory labour and two counts of arranging or facilitating travel of another person with a view to exploitation.
He appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Saturday 7 March and has been remanded in custody.
