Detectives are investigating an armed robbery at a newsagents in Tamworth
A man entered Watson’s Newsagents on Pennymoor Road at 7.25pm on Saturday 29 February carrying a kitchen knife.
He demanded money from the till and fled with a quantity of cash.
The suspect, who was wearing a scarf over his face, is a described as white, aged between 25-30 and of slim build. He was wearing dark clothing and ripped jeans/trousers.
Enquiries are ongoing and detectives are appealing for any witnesses to get in touch. Anyone with information is urged call 101 quoting incident number 682 of 29 February or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
