Officers have made three arrests in Tamworth as part of an operation to target drug dealing in the town.
A 42-year-old man from Tamworth was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs following a search in Woodlands Road at 6pm yesterday (14 July).
Following a subsequent search at a property in Juniper a 20-year-old of no fixed address was arrested for being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
A 20-year-old man from Sheldon, Birmingham, was stopped in Balfour, Tamworth, at 4pm yesterday. He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
Heroin, crack cocaine and a large amount of cash were seized. All three men remain in custody.
