Detectives investigating a series of distraction burglaries in Stoke-on-Trent have charged a man.
Stuart Hipkiss, 34, of Mulgrave Street, Cobridge, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with three counts of burglary and one count of fraud.
The charges relate to a burglary on Kempthorne Road in Hanley and fraud at a business on Waterloo Street in Hanley on 14 June.
Hipkiss has also been charged with two burglaries on 13 July on Kingsclere Grove and Kingston Avenue in Sneyd Green.
He appeared at North Staffordshire Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (18 July) and remanded until his next appearance at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 17 August.
