Detectives investigating assault in Fenton

Detectives are investigating after two men were assaulted on Victoria Road in Fenton on Saturday (4 July) night.

Police were called at 6.40pm to reports of two men with head injuries in an alleyway off Victoria Road.

One of the men was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital, where he is still receiving treatment. The other man did not go to hospital.

Officers are interested to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time or anyone who has CCTV footage.
