Detectives are investigating after a man was attacked with a machete in Burton.
Police were called at 6.50pm last night (Monday 6 July) to reports that a man had been attacked by another man on Goodman Street at around 6pm.
The 41-year-old man was taken to Queen’s Hospital, Burton, where he was treated for injuries to his hand. He has since been discharged.
Officers are interested to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time or anyone who has CCTV footage from the area.
