Police have charged a man following an assault at a pub in Stoke-on-Trent.
Charlie Diskin, 24, of Mornington Road, Stoke-on-Trent, was one of two men arrested by officers called to the Terrace Inn on Leek Road on Saturday night (4 January) – where two people were assaulted and garden furniture thrown.
Diskin – charged with criminal damage and using threatening behaviour with intent to cause fear and provoke unlawful violence – has been granted conditional bail until appearing at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on 21 January.
The second man – arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and assault – has been released with no further action.
