Detectives are investigating following the death of a man in Stoke-on-Trent.
Emergency services were called to an address in Maud Street, Fenton, at around 12 noon today (Sunday 2 February), where they discovered the body of a 56-year-old man.
The death is currently being treated as suspicious and a post mortem will take place in due course.
A 48-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and he remains in custody for questioning.
The address remains cordoned off while a forensic examination is carried out.
