Detectives are investigating a robbery in Codsall after a teenager was assaulted and his bike was stolen.
Police were called to Claypit Lane at 6.15pm on Sunday (19 January), to reports that a 15-year-old boy had been assaulted by a group of males. He was walking with his bike on Wolverhampton Road when one of the males pulled him into an alleyway where he received punches to the face and kicks to the body leaving him with cuts and bruises. It is believed that one of the offenders were in possession of a silver-handled handgun. His bike was taken and the offenders ran from the scene.
The boy ran to a local pub to get help and the police were called. He went to New Cross Hospital for treatment.
